ln this group, children aged between 18 months and 2 years are cared for by 2 Nursery Nurses, enabling each child to have lots of individual care and attention.
Throughout the day there are regular story times with rhymes and singing, art and craft activities and quiet times for work with puzzles, construction toys and lots more.
During each session the children have the opportunity for role-play, painting, collage, cutting out, sand and water activities and play with malleable materials
such as play—dough and clay.
These activities all encourage development of concentration skills, social interaction and manual dexterity as well, of course, as being lots of fun.
Hillside Day Nursery follows the local authorities guidelines on Child Protection Procedures.
A nominated person at each setting is responsible for Child Protection issues.
