At our Potterswood nursery there is a large grass area and woodland for nature walks and a vegetable garden where the children can tend to their own crops.
Outdoor facilities vary at each of our nurseries, but include:
- A soft surface area where children can use a variety of wheeled toys, balls and skittles etc for both free play and organised games or activities
- An area with climbing equipment for more challenging physical play.
We have large indoor soft playrooms with ball pools for physical and imaginative play at both nurseries.
Hillside Day Nursery follows the local authorities guidelines on Child Protection Procedures.
A nominated person at each setting is responsible for Child Protection issues.
