Children of all abilities are welcome at Hillside. We aim to integrate children with special needs as fully as possible by allowing extra thought, time and special equipment as necessary.

By discussing the child's needs with the parents and any other agencies involved we can plan curriculum so that every child can benefit from nursery education and develop to the best of their ability.
We are aware of and guided by the Local Authorities Code of Practice for the identification of children with Special Education Needs, and have a named person in each setting responsible for Special Needs issues.
The nursery is open all year round (except Bank Holidays) from 8am—6pm, Monday to Friday.
Children can attend the nursery sessionally, daily or full time.
