Hillside Day Nursery was established in 1993. Our Staple Hill premises opened in 1998 and cares for 30 children between the ages of 0 — 5 years. The newest
premises within the grounds of John Cabot Academy was opened in 2003 and cares for 33 children in the same age range.
We welcome the involvement of parents in nursery activities where possible.
We encourage parents to share any information with your child key work ie if your child develops a particular interest/skill outside of nursery.
Parents are often included in outings and parties at nursery, e.g. at Christmas time.
Valuable information from the parents/carers about each child at home is used in the planning of individualt assessments.

A quarterly newsletter keeps parents/carers up to date with any events/changes and twice yearly parents evenings allow everyone to meet in a relaxed atmosphere to discuss their children‘s progress.
Hillside Day Nursery has a comprehensive health and safety policy, which is available for inspection by parents/carers.
